Reports indicate that Al-Ahly club is close to signing young French player Ibrahim Diaby from Belgian club Cercle Brugge, for a fee of 13.5 million euros including incentives. This deal is considered an investment in the club's future, as Al-Ahly focuses on building a team with young, capable players who can develop. Diaby, who is 19 years old, progressed through Paris Saint-Germain's academy and demonstrated a good level with Brugge, participating in 28 matches and scoring two goals, providing Al-Ahly with flexibility in the midfield and a long-term valuable investment. The deal includes a four-year contract with an option for an additional season, and the player is currently undergoing a medical examination in Saudi Arabia.
