Zidane Discusses World Cup Headbutt
Zinedine Zidane, head coach of the French national football team, stated that he is not proud of the headbutt he delivered to Italian defender Marco Materazzi in the 2006 World Cup final, expressing his frustration at being continually reminded of that moment, which he considers part of his career rather than a sign of regret. During a press conference ahead of France's upcoming match against Italy in the UEFA Nations League, he clarified that the incident was a difficult period in his life and that he has not spoken to Materazzi since then. Zidane is preparing to play again at the Stade de France after 20 years since his last match there, aiming to achieve victory with the French team in front of the fans.
