Ferran Torres injured, Spain upset PSG
Ferran Torres suffered an ankle injury before Spain's matches against the Czech Republic and Croatia, resulting in his departure from the national team camp and his inability to continue with the international break. The Spanish Football Federation explained that the injury was due to persistent pain in his left ankle, despite the player's attempts to participate in training sessions. A decision was made to exclude him to allow for treatment and full recovery. Torres will now have to miss both matches and will return to Paris to continue his treatment program, while coach Carlos Espejel has summoned a replacement to cover for his absence. The injury comes at a sensitive time, given Torres's outstanding performance with Paris Saint-Germain this season, where he has scored 7 goals in 6 matches.
