Portugal qualifies amid Ronaldo crisis

Portugal, the reigning European Nations League champion, secured its fourth consecutive victory by beating Norway 2-1, confirming its qualification to the quarter-finals in March of next year. Norway scored the first goal in the 36th minute through Kristoffer Ajer, but Portugal responded quickly with a goal from João Cancelo just two minutes later. Gonçalo Ramos sealed the win 11 minutes before the end with an assist from João Félix. The match saw Portugal's Francesco Conceiçao sent off four minutes before the final whistle for sarcastically raising his thumb at the referee, in a tense atmosphere following Cristiano Ronaldo's withdrawal from the national team camp. Portugal tops Group 4 with 6 points, ahead of second-placed Denmark.
