UAE Youth Muay Thai Starts October 9
The UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation announced the upcoming UAE Youth Championship, which will be held from October 9 to 11 at Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) in Al Jazeera Club. The event will feature 790 athletes from 51 clubs, ranging in age from 6 to 17 years old, competing across 198 weight categories. The championship aims to strengthen the foundation of Muay Thai among young age groups, discover talented athletes, and provide competitive opportunities that contribute to skill development. It also supports clubs and academies in preparing and enhancing their technical capabilities. The weigh-ins and medical examinations for participants will take place on October 7 in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ajman, and Ras Al Khaimah, as part of the federation’s efforts to monitor emerging talent and expand the sport’s base across the country.
