Italy's Union Under Guardianship Amid Malagu Stay
It has been decided that Giovanni Malagò will remain in his position as interim president of the Italian Football Federation, in agreement with the Italian Olympic Committee, following controversy over his election. This is aimed at continuing the rebuilding process of Italian football, which suffered from failure to qualify for the last World Cup. This comes as the national team regains its balance after a victory over Turkey and a draw with France. Malagò is considered one of the prominent figures in Italian sports, and he faces challenges related to appointing a new national team coach and preparing for the hosting of Euro 2032, despite infrastructural issues with the stadiums.
