Al-Nassr's Sudden Absence Sparks Boycott Rumors
The absence of Al-Nassr Club from the General Assembly meeting of the Saudi Pro League Association sparked controversy, as they did not participate in voting on important decisions due to their personal absence and the failure to send qualified representatives. This raises questions about the timing of their absence and whether it was a deliberate attempt to boycott the Saudi league. Additionally, a vote was held to adopt a competency-based criterion for selecting the league president, replacing the previous requirement of five years of experience. Despite the significance of the meeting, most major clubs were absent, and the last such gathering took place more than two years ago.
