The article addresses the issue of reconsidering the results of a final match in the Africa Cup of Nations between Morocco and Senegal, which was marred by controversial events, including clashes between fans and police, as well as protests by Senegalese players. The matter revolves around the decision by the Appeals Committee to annul Senegal's victory and award the title to Morocco after the Moroccan players left the field in protest over a penalty kick. The International Sports Arbitration Court in Switzerland is awaiting a hearing for the parties involved, with no set date for the verdict, which is expected to definitively determine the tournament's champion. Information indicates that the authority and influence of referees may be a decisive factor in the court’s decision, especially considering that the Appeals Committee's ruling was based on regulations resulting in Senegal's loss. All eyes are now on the final ruling, which could alter the tournament outcome and determine the true African champion for 2026.
