Modrić Reflects on Madrid and Mourinho
Luka Modric expressed his nostalgia for playing at Real Madrid, confirming his desire to return to the club where he spent 13 years. However, he indicated that his decision depends on how useful he is to the team and whether they need him. He clarified that he feels good physically and mentally and plans to make a step-by-step decision about continuing to play, monitoring his body along the way. He also contacted former Real Madrid coach José Mourinho, emphasizing that returning is a dream, but it depends on the club’s circumstances and their stance toward him. He affirmed that Real Madrid is in a good state and needs to correct its course. Currently, Modric continues to play with Milan and feels comfortable there, but he misses Real Madrid and wishes to return in the future if the opportunity arises.
