Mourinho Discusses Ancelotti and Spurs Ties
Jose Mourinho, the head coach of Real Madrid, revealed that his relationship with Tottenham was different from other clubs due to the circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, which prevented him from building human connections with the team and the fans. He explained that the nearly empty stadiums played a role in distancing him from establishing strong relationships during his time coaching in London. He clarified that his experience with Tottenham was exceptional, with repeated situations of silence and limited interaction, leading to a somewhat lukewarm relationship. He also pointed out that rumors about his move to Real Madrid appeared before any official contact, stating that this was surprising and unexpected. Additionally, he discussed his amicable relationship with Ancelotti, revealing that the latter was interested in Real Madrid players and eager to check on their well-being. He considered joking with him about the photos hanging in the club as a sign of their good relationship, despite their different coaching paths.
