Madrid eyed by 'Ibn Mourinio' shot
Real Madrid is interested in signing Napoli midfielder Scott McTominay, who is 29 years old, amid ongoing difficulties in renewing his contract with the Italian club, which expires in June 2028. The player has expressed openness to a move to Real Madrid if he receives a call from his former coach, José Mourinho, who is seen as a significant factor in the likelihood of completing the transfer. McTominay has been delivering impressive performances, scoring 14 goals and providing 4 assists in 44 matches last season, and he received the Serie A Best Player award. The Royal Club is considering the option of signing the player, especially since he is currently not committed to renewing his contract. Napoli faces challenges in keeping or selling him, while other clubs from the English Premier League are also monitoring his situation.
