Ang prioritizes safety over Ayman and Al-Nasir
The head coach of Al Nassr's first football team, Ange Postecoglou, assigned the left-back position to the promising young player, Awad Aman, in the starting lineup for the match against Dar Al-Arja in the Saudi Pro League. This was his first official starting appearance, although he had previously participated as a substitute in three matches without scoring any goals. The decision was made despite the presence of other players in the squad competing for the same position. The team’s defender, Abdulrahman Al-Amri, was absent from the lineup due to fatigue. The starting lineup includes goalkeeper Bento Matsuis, four defenders including Awad Aman, along with midfielders and attackers such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mané. Al Nassr is currently third in the league standings with 16 points, two points behind the league-leading Al Hilal and trailing second-placed Al Ittihad, which has 17 points.
