Al-Ahli's top score boosts winning streak
Al-Ahli's first football team won against Al-Fateh 4-0 in a match during the eighth round of the Saudi Pro League. This is the biggest result for Al-Ahli on Al-Fateh's ground since the league's inception in 2008, and their first victory on Al-Fateh's turf in over four years. Al-Ahli's goals were scored by Francisco Trincão with two goals, Ivan Toney with one, and Zia Al-Jahani with one, before a fifth goal was disallowed due to offside using VAR technology. Al-Ahli's points rose to 15, while Al-Fateh's points remained at three, marking the start of the new Moroccan coach Jamal Salama's leadership. The match ended with a significant victory for Al-Ahli, following a series of three defeats, making it their largest win against Al-Fateh in the Pro League.
