Sancho takes over in Bahrain
The Bahraini Football Association has ended its contract with Croatian coach Dragan Talić following his performance at the Gulf Cup "Gulf 27," where the Bahraini national team was eliminated in the group stage after three defeats. The association has signed Spanish coach Felx Sanchez to take over as head coach starting from next November. Sanchez, who led Qatar to win the 2019 Asian Cup and participated in the 2022 World Cup, aims to lead the Bahraini national team in the 2030 World Cup qualifiers and the 2027 Asian Cup. A press conference will soon be held to introduce the new coach upon his arrival, and preparations will be made to ready the team for upcoming competitions.
