Al-Nasr starts Gulf campaign vs Al-Riffa
Al Nasr Dubai begins its journey in the Gulf Champions League by facing Riffa Bahrain at Al Maktoum Stadium in Dubai, in the first round of Group Two, which also includes Qatar SC and Al Zawraa Iraq. Al Nasr aims to capitalize on the home advantage and the support of its fans to secure an early victory and earn the three points needed to enhance its chances of qualifying for the next round. The club is also seeking to regain its Gulf title, which it last won in 2014, after a 12-year gap since its first victory. This match represents an opportunity to test the club’s ambitions in the tournament, with an effort to avoid an upset on its home ground and to continue competing for the title.
