FA fines Arbello for refereeing remarks
The English Football Association has fined Spanish coach Álvaro Arbeloa £25,000 after he made comments following his team's 1-1 draw with Manchester United in the league. Arbeloa stated that the referees would not allow Manchester United to lose, to which the FA responded with a warning and a fine due to remarks suggesting bias or questions about the referees' integrity, and his behavior was considered inappropriate. Fulham is currently at the bottom of the league table with two points from six matches.
