Andrik Criticizes Treatment of Vinicius
The article focused on the young Real Madrid player Endrick's discontent with the penalty that led to his compatriot Vinicius Jr. being suspended for four matches by the Spanish Football Federation's Competition Committee. This suspension followed Vinicius Jr.'s ejection in a match against Villarreal for pulling Nathan Saliba's hair, which also resulted in his goal being disallowed in the game. Endrick expressed his belief that the punishment should have been only two matches, but he emphasized that targeting Vinicius Jr. and maintaining pressure on him is unreasonable, confidently stating he expects to return in top form soon. Real Madrid's coach, José Mourinho, questioned the timing of announcing the suspension before a crucial Champions League match, without directly commenting on the severity of the penalty itself.
