Vinicius appeals for referee protection
Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior criticized after the Competition Committee announced his four-match suspension, deeming the punishment came at an inappropriate time and that the new rule causing the suspension was not clearly explained. He mentioned that referees easily penalize him and unjustifiably raise cards in his face, despite him not engaging in violent behavior or violence against other players. He also criticized the referees for discriminating against him compared to other players like Lamine Yamal and Julián Álvarez, emphasizing the need to protect players who play in different styles on the field.
