Mendy: Faisali supporter and Ibrahimović fan
Alexander Mendy, the forward for Al-Faisaly, was born in Toulon, France, on March 20, 1994. He grew up in two neighborhoods of the city and from a young age learned that success requires hard work and dedication, often creating space for his teammates instead of demanding the ball. Despite not being accepted by French football academies, he began his career with smaller clubs and demonstrated talent that earned him the trust of Caen, helping him progress gradually. He signed his first professional contract in 2014 and played for several French clubs, most notably Caen, where he scored 75 goals in 175 matches. Through effort and perseverance, he achieved notable success despite doubts from others. He now holds Guinean-Bissauan citizenship and is known as a hard-working player. He draws inspiration from Zlatan Ibrahimović in style, with a strong focus on his family, which positively influences his performance.
