Egypt club owned by Mido seeks police help against rival
The "The Makers" Club, owned by former Egyptian footballer Ahmed Hossam "Mido," has filed an official police complaint against Mansheyah Al-Bakary team following acts of violence and violations witnessed during their match in the Fourth Division. The club indicated that their players and coaching staff were assaulted, and that there were organizational violations, including the delayed arrival of an ambulance and the referee’s failure to implement protective measures, despite their insistence on the necessity to suspend or postpone the game to ensure everyone’s safety. Mido firmly reaffirmed his team's right to be awarded the victory and has called for legal action against Mansheyah Al-Bakary, warning against the recurrence of such incidents that threaten the safety of players and coaching staff.
