The 2027 edition of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic golf tournament will be held at the Emirates Club in Dubai from January 21 to 24, featuring global star Rory McIlroy, who is aiming to win the title for the fifth time and further strengthen his record number of tournament victories. McIlroy is the most decorated player in the tournament's history, having started competing here in 2006 at the age of 16, and secured his first professional win in 2009, along with four other titles. McIlroy expressed his love for the tournament, affirming that the club is his second home and that it represents a perfect start to the year, praising the support of the fans. The tournament also highlights the environmental initiative "Go for the Green," making it the first golf event in the Middle East to receive the GEO certification for sustainability.
