Nasser Mansy's message to Zamalek post incident
Nasser Mansi, the forward of Al Ahly SC, apologized for his reaction during his celebration after scoring the winning goal in the Round of 32 match of the CAF Champions League against AS Vita Club. He threw his shirt on the ground, an act that the technical staff considered to be a disrespect to the club. This was stated in a statement posted on Instagram, explaining that his behavior was a moment of intense emotion due to pressure, but he admits that it does not justify his conduct in the professional world. Mansi has been suspended from team training and placed under investigation, as the club takes steps to determine his final status regarding a return to matches, after previously being heavily fined. The club is preparing to make decisions based on the results of the investigation, while fans continue to support the team.
