Moroccan star to miss 15 matches due to injury
Moroccan national team star and Panathinaikos Greek team player, Ezzedine Onahi, sustained a severe third-degree muscle tear injury in his right thigh during a Greek league match. Medical examinations indicate that his recovery period will range from two and a half to three months, which will prevent him from participating in the upcoming Moroccan national team camp and the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Niger on November 13 and 17, 2026. The injury comes after a distinguished performance by Onahi, in which he scored 3 goals in 8 matches this season, and it resulted in him being transferred off the field on a stretcher.
