Low attendance looms over PSG vs Barcelona
The Paris Saint-Germain versus Barcelona match in the Champions League faces the risk of cancellation or being played behind closed doors due to high security concerns following recent riots in France. Authorities are preparing to deploy around 5,000 security personnel, including specialized forces and water cannons, along with strict measures such as a curfew and a security ban around the stadium. These precautions come in response to the violence and looting incidents that led to the arrest of over 2,400 individuals and will include drone surveillance to prevent any terrorist acts or potential riots, all in an effort to ensure the safety of the event amid the possibility of renewed violence.
