Spertsyan, Galeno benched
Al-Ahli coach Marino Pušić selected five foreign players in the starting lineup for the match against Al-Shabab in Round 12 of the Roshn Saudi League: Roger Ibañez, Valentin Atangana, Artem Bondarenko, Matheus Gonçalves and Francisco Trincão. Eduard Spertsyan and Wenderson Galeno were named among the substitutes. It was only the second time this season that Spertsyan had started a league match on the bench, while Galeno returned after missing four matches through injury.
