Al-Ahli Saudi fans called for Dutch coach Marino Pusic to be sacked, chanting “Pusic out” after the first half of their match against Al-Shabab in Riyadh, with Al-Shabab leading 3–1. The fans’ anger followed the 22nd-minute sending-off of Al-Ahli goalkeeper Abdulrahman Al-Sanbi, as Al-Shabab squandered several dangerous chances. Pusic has been in charge of Al-Ahli since the start of the season, overseeing 16 matches in which the team has recorded 11 wins, four losses and one draw.
