Al-Taawoun coach Vuk Rašović said his team were ready to face Jordan’s Al-Faisaly in Buraidah on Wednesday, in the fourth round of Group C in the AFC Champions League Two. The teams met six days ago, when Al-Taawoun won 2–0. Rašović said his side knew their opponents and had prepared well. They had also welcomed back some players who had been unavailable, and hoped to secure qualification if the opportunity arose, with the support of their fans. Defender Zineddine Belaid stressed the importance of winning and collecting points to qualify, adding that the team’s focus was on the match against Al-Faisaly.
