Racism hits Moroccan star
Moroccan international Zakaria Aboukhlal, a Torino player, was subjected to insults, threats and racist comments on social media after a challenge of his left Frosinone striker Antonio Raimondo with an ankle injury during an Italian league match. Aboukhlal apologized to Raimondo immediately after the game, stressing that he had not intended to hurt him. But the apology did not stop the attacks, which went beyond the bounds of sporting criticism.
