Moroccan striker Walid Azaro said Ajman’s two wins, which have put the team top of Group C in the Gulf Champions League with six points, have given the players extra motivation to continue their positive run. He said their immediate aim is to reach the next round before going as far as possible in the competition. Azaro described Wednesday’s match against Saudi side Al-Ettifaq as a tough one, and stressed that Ajman are determined to give their best and improve their chances of qualifying. He also said he is happy at Ajman, having joined the club five years ago and recently renewed his contract until mid-2028. He is looking forward to continuing to score and to helping the team and its supporters.
