The first four rounds of the “Emirates Villages Running Races 2026,” held from 10 to 31 October in Qidfa, Lahbab, Wadi Al Helo and Falaj Al Mualla, attracted around 4,000 participants and more than 3,000 spectators. The events combined sport with an introduction to the UAE’s villages, and included activities to raise awareness of houbara conservation, as well as markets showcasing local agricultural products—all in support of tourism and economic development. The upcoming rounds will take place in Masfout on 14 November and Al Rams on 28 November, before the series concludes in Al Shuwaib on 5 December.
