Al-Qadsiah coach Brendan Rodgers has given his players two days off, with their break ending on Friday. The time off coincides with the postponement of the 13th round of the Saudi Roshn League and the international break. Sources ruled out the team playing any friendlies. After training resumes, the players are expected to focus on recovery and fitness programmes. Al-Qadsiah are second in the league with 28 points, two behind Al-Hilal. They are also fifth in the West Region group of the AFC Champions League Elite, with eight points.
