Al-Dawsari's Asia Award
Salem Al-Dawsari’s post of a photo from his previous Asian Player of the Year award ceremony sparked speculation that he had won the prize again, but it does not confirm the outcome of the competition, which has yet to be officially decided. The Al-Hilal captain is vying for the award for the third time, alongside Firas Al-Buraikan and Alireza Beiranvand, and could become the first player to win it three times. The winner will be announced at a ceremony in Bangkok, the Thai capital, on November 19.
