Santander snatch win
Moroccan Yasser Zabiri led Racing Santander to a 2–1 win away to Málaga, scoring the decisive goal in the 60th minute—his ninth league goal—in round 12. Málaga took the lead through Carlos Dotor in the 28th minute, before Iker Luque Sierra equalized. The hosts then played the rest of the match with ten men after Adam Aznou was sent off in the 64th minute. Santander moved up to 14 points and provisionally climbed to ninth place, while Málaga remained on five points and without a win in its 12 matches this season.
