Tottenham Hotspur striker, Mohamed Kudus, will miss the upcoming World Cup due to a thigh injury sustained last January. His exclusion from the Ghana squad announced by coach Ceesay has been confirmed. Kudus, who has scored 13 international goals, has not played in any matches since his possible recovery in March. Ceesay relies on Antoine Semenyo and Inaki Williams in the attack, while Abdul Rahman Baba has been called up for the first time since 2023. Ghana will compete in Group 12 alongside Croatia, England, and Panama.
