Portuguese coach José Gomes outlined his conditions for renewing his contract with the Saudi club Al-Fateh. He desires to have a role in selecting foreign players, particularly from the Egyptian Premier League. Among his requests is to sign Congolese forward Fiston Mayele from Pyramids FC, although the deal has faced obstacles due to the club's financial circumstances and the player's demand for two million dollars over a contract of at least two seasons. Gomes has also requested the signing of two players from Al Ahly: Marwan Attia and Emam Ashour, to strengthen the team during the summer.
