The International Football Federation (FIFA) announced the approval of training camp sites for the participating teams in the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico with 48 teams. Thirty-nine teams from the United States, seven from Mexico, and two from Canada will use these sites as training centers during the tournament, with 25 cities outside the host cities participating to enhance attendance and economic development. The site selection process will begin in 2024, following the draw in November 2025, with the aim of activating the host regions and expanding audience engagement and economic impact.
