European Challenge Prepares Qatar
The Qatar national football team has arrived in Ireland to begin the final stage of their preparations for the 2026 World Cup. They will play a friendly match against Ireland tomorrow, Thursday, under the guidance of Spanish coach Julen Lopetegui. The squad consists of 28 players, with seven players being excluded from the initial list to finalize a squad of 26 players, which will be announced in June. The training camp will focus on assessing the players' readiness through the Ireland match, before moving to the United States to face El Salvador and enter the World Cup competitions.
