Enrique Riquelme camp statement
The campaign team of candidate Enrique Rikelme issued a strongly worded statement condemning the tense atmosphere and media conflicts surrounding the Real Madrid club elections, describing them as harmful to the unity of the fans and threatening the club's reputation. They accused President Florentino Pérez’s management of escalating media tensions and making inaccurate statements, highlighting financial successes such as issuing bonds worth $2 billion with interest rates of up to 7.25%, along with investment requests totaling $8 billion. The statement confirmed that Rikelme’s candidacy is officially recognized by the Election Committee, despite attempts to cast doubt on it.
