Al-Ittifaq star's summer move to Al-Hilal
Saudi press reports indicate that Al-Ettifaq Club has denied any official offer from Al-Hilal for the transfer of player Khalid Al-Ghannam during the summer transfer window. Currently, the player is focused on participating in the 2026 World Cup with the Saudi national team. Al-Ghannam's contract with Al-Ettifaq extends until 2028 and includes a €48 million (48 million Riyals) release clause, which expires next August. Al-Ghannam previously played on loan for Al-Hilal in the 2024-2025 season and has also played for Al-Nassr. He demonstrated a remarkable level in the last season of the Saudi league.
