Marc Bresianno on Al Bayan: Australia's Resilience
Mark Bresciano, the former captain of the Australian national team, said that the Australian team has a good chance of qualifying for the Round of 16 in the World Cup, thanks to the fighting spirit and competitiveness of its players. He considers reaching the knockout stages a success for them. He believes that Spain and France theoretically have the strongest lineups, but winning the tournament won't be easy on North American soil. He anticipates that the trophy will go to one of the South American teams, while praising the stature of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
