Sports Ministry: Youths face challenges, no immortality requests
The Ministry of Sports and the National Center for Privatization announced the launch of five Saudi clubs for privatization: Al Riyadh, Al Fateh, Abha, Al Tai, and Al Shoula. Investors can submit their applications until July 7th. The Assistant Undersecretary for Investment and Privatization at the Ministry clarified that all clubs are available for investment, provided there is seriousness. The Ministry has received over 80 applications from 22 clubs, emphasizing that Al Shabab is among the targeted clubs. Additionally, the Ministry denied reports about transferring Al Khaleed Club’s training sessions to Riyadh, explaining that the matter is under review and no official request has been received. This initiative is part of the privatization project, which has already involved transferring ownership of other clubs, including Al Hilal, Al Nasser, Al Ittihad, and Al Ahli, to the Public Investment Fund.
