Egypt team conducts surprise tests before Belgium match

The players of the Egyptian national team underwent doping tests at the team’s camp in Spokane, USA, as part of the International Football Federation's (FIFA) procedures during the 2026 World Cup. A random selection of players was chosen by a medical committee to ensure fair competition. The team is preparing to face Belgium on June 15 in the group that also includes Iran and New Zealand, amid hopes of a strong start in the World Cup.
