International humanitarian organizations criticized the high-cost commercial services launched by FIFA during the upcoming World Cup, which begins tomorrow, Thursday. They argued that these measures turn the tournament into purely an investment platform. Among these services is the "Premium Greeting," which allows fans to display their names on scoreboards for $79 during the group stages. However, this service does not guarantee name appearances during matches or on TV broadcasts. It also comes with restrictions on the timing, duration, and location of the display, with priority given to fans present inside the stadiums.
