The story of Majed Othmani revolves around his transformation from a Syrian refugee fleeing war to the owner of a successful Syrian restaurant project in northern Germany. After arriving in Germany in 2015 and working in a family restaurant to gain experience, Faisal launched his own venture called "Fatima," based on his family recipes, starting with a mobile food truck. As demand grew and the project expanded, he settled into a permanent location in the city of Mönchengladbach, where he opened "Bistro Fatima" in August 2026. The restaurant offers authentic home-style Syrian dishes, emphasizing fresh ingredients and family heritage. Othmani's journey began with a desire to repair cars, but circumstances of asylum and personal efforts led to the creation of a family business that stands as an inspiring success story.
