Calm has returned to Jadidet Artooz in rural Damascus after renewed tensions on Friday due to disagreements among residents. Security forces intervened heavily and imposed a curfew. The town, especially in the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, experienced clashes and gunfire following disputes between local residents and young people from Deir Ezzor, leading to a widespread security deployment and police intervention to disperse crowds and fire shots into the air.
