The Syrian Network for Human Rights has published its annual report on enforced disappearance in Syria, on the occasion of International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances on August 30th. The report emphasizes that the search for detained and disappeared persons and the preservation of evidence remain ongoing responsibilities, with thousands of cases still unresolved to date. It highlights the importance of families' right to know the fate of their loved ones, in accordance with international conventions, and reiterates that efforts to uncover the truth and address these issues must continue to ensure justice and accountability.
