YouTuber Arif Kocibek Detained While Fleeing

Turkish authorities have arrested YouTuber and content creator Arif Koçayık, who was attempting to leave the country illegally despite a court order preventing him from traveling due to his alleged insult of the President. This occurred while he was trying to cross into Bulgaria via the Kapıkule border crossing. Koçayık, known for his nationalist rhetoric and criticisms of foreigners and refugees, had previously faced charges and legal proceedings related to "insulting the President" and inciting hatred. He was detained after being found hiding underneath a truck as he tried to escape.
