Radio Aleppo to launch locally

The Syrian Radio and Television Authority is preparing to launch "Aleppo Radio" as a local station that reflects the identity of the province and the needs of its audience. It will offer a variety of programs including news, culture, and drama in the Aleppine dialect, with an emphasis on local heritage and employing local talent. The station will rely on digital content to enhance interaction and broaden its reach, with news accounting for no more than 10% of the content. The project aims for the radio to become the voice of the Aleppine community. Currently, preparations are underway to complete technical setups and training before officially announcing the launch date.
