Germany Poll Shows Fake 46% in Saxony-Anhalt

A false image has spread on social media claiming that a poll shows the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party with 46% in the Saxony-Anhalt state election, potentially paving the way for a majority in parliament. Tag24 newspaper confirmed that they did not conduct any such poll and that the image contains errors, such as percentages not adding up to 100%, mistakes in the logo, and an image of a building that does not exist. The latest genuine surveys show AfD with approximately 42%, the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) around 22%, and The Left at 11%.
