Prosecutors in the city of Kassel are investigating a supervisor responsible for a group of children during a recreational trip, following the death of a 9-year-old boy who drowned in Lake Twistesee in Bad Arolsen, Hesse. The child was participating in a holiday camp and was on an inflatable boat with two other children when he lost his balance and fell into the water, later drowning. Although the other two children were rescued, it was found that the drowning child was not wearing a life jacket. The investigation is ongoing to determine the extent of criminal negligence, with authorities continuing to explore the causes of the incident and the child's swimming ability.
